KEY STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

As a result of the strategic planning process, the following key strategic directions are summarized as follows:

  1. To strengthen and ensure our financial viability and growth as a leader in long term health care services

  2. To strengthen and enhance our quality of services based on client and   community needs through the continuation of evidenced-based, client centre approaches.

  3. To develop and sustain a strong network of partnerships that will leverage the collective strengths, resources and commitment of each partner to best serve the needs of our diverse heath care community (clients, families and staff)

  4. To build market focused health care centres that consistently provide outstanding value to our clients and their families. This means we must align all aspects of our organization, including our culture, services and leadership firmly with our target client value proposition.

  5. To “grow our people” by strengthening and enhancing our position as the “Employer of choice” to recruit, train, and retain the best health care professionals, volunteers and support staff in an environment of learning, caring and support.

Within each of the strategic directions, both long and short –term goals will be established.
